snippets of my class blog

I cringe when I think of writing.

Do we really have to write?

I guess so.

Well, you can basically see how much I hate writing. But, I'm hoping that after this semester, I will see writing in a different perspective because as much as I hate it, I know that I will have to write, write, and write for the next forty years of my life (maybe more). I might as well start loving it. Smile

When I was asked to write what I was thinking right at that moment in class, I was stuck. It seemed like at that point of time, many different things were going through my mind and I was not able to isolate one single thought. I like to think and daydream. Often before I go to bed, I will lie in bed and think of what happened that day and what is going to happen the next day. My thoughts will then wander and I will fall asleep eventually.

Have a great weekend everyone!

It is during times like this I question my decision of coming to an unknown place, far from my family and everything that I am familiar with. It's Chinese New Year back home now and it's a time of reunion, a time to celebrate. But, here I am, writing a post and studying for a quiz. Why did I choose to come here?

My conference went well and I felt a lot better after coming out of the room. I know I am always too hard on myself. But, it's difficult to change and become a more confident person in just one night. Call me a product of an Asian education. I'm a perfectionist and a sore loser.

Coming to college has definitely changed the way I view many things. Grades do not matter as much as they used to and I've learnt that there's usually no harm in trying out something new. Taking some risks definitely makes life more exciting.

I'm stuck at International House now and since I have no books with me, I just thought that I should blog. The peer review today went well, better than I thought. When Shelby read my draft, I found things that I want to change. I had fun in class today as well. I met many new people and that's keeping me happy on this cold day. To Esther, welcome to our class!

yea, every day from Sun to Thurs. We get 2 days off, Fri and Sat, LOL. As if that makes a difference!
3 lines minimum, but everyone in my class writes like 3 paragraphs, so I feel pressured to write more, though you can see, most of the time, I'm too lazy.
